ABOUT THE COURSE
This eight-hour course will cover:
1) The most current issues in farm and ranch brokerage practices, in preparation for the 2025 marketplace
2) The Texas Real Estate Commission promulgated Farm and Ranch contract and appropriate addenda as revised by the TREC Broker/Lawyer Committee or as proposed to be passed into legislation in the 2025 legislative session
3) The challenges of a changing farm and ranch market, of federal, state, and local revisions in water rights and permitting across the state as we face yet another prolonged period of devastating drought
4) An update, on a region-by-region analysis, ad valorem taxation, and the license holder’s role in support for client’s dealings with the central appraisal districts
