  • TALB Terms and Agreement
By submitting this form, you agree to fully comply with the Bylaws and Rules of the TALB and the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), as well as the following TALB Code of Ethics:

The Texas Alliance of Land Brokers (TALB) is a professional organization demanding excellence in the brokerage of land in Texas. As such, members of TALB will maintain the highest degree of ethical professionalism in the real estate industry. Members will not only adhere to the minimum standards of the laws of the State of Texas and the Texas Real Estate Commission Canons of Professional Ethics and Conduct, but we must hold ourselves, as members of TALB, to a higher standard and degree of vigilance. If any member's conduct is questioned by a TALB member or member of the public, the TALB Board of Directors, following the due process set out in the TALB By-Laws, reserves the right to suspend or rescind that person's membership in TALB. This applies to applicants as well. If an applicant's conduct and/or ethics has been questioned, TALB reserves the right to deny membership to that applicant.

As we are LAND brokers, all members, while not limited to rural land sales, must be familiar with and maintain a degree of competency in the transfer of agricultural land. In addition to land currently valued under the 1-D-1 criteria, TALB further defines "agricultural land" as 'land that is currently devoted principally to agricultural use to the degree of intensity generally accepted in the area.' (Manual for the Appraisal of Agricultural Land)

By submitting your application, you agree to these terms and conditions.
