The Wolf Ranch is a good combination hunting and cattle ranch that has been in the same family since the late 1980s. The terrain is rolling with some higher hilltops with long-range views. The elevation on the ranch ranges from approximately 2,130+/- asl to 2,310+/- asl. Bisecting the ranch is the Dry Llano River drainage area that falls from south to north. The valley land on the ranch has good oak and hardwood cover. Other parts of the ranch have live oaks and juniper that provide excellent cover, with mesquite trees in the property's deeper soils. Most of the ranch is accessible with good pasture roads. There are large neighboring ranches all boundaries of the property. The ranch is partially high fenced, with an older high fence on the north and west boundaries and a good high fence on the west border and low fenced on the south boundary.
