Robby was born in West Columbia, Texas where he learned how to raise animals, grow crops, and respect his elders. After graduating from High School he attended Brazosport Community College and acquired a degree in Chemistry while working at Dow Chemical as a Lab Tech. He then moved to San Marcos, Texas where he acquired a degree in Information Technology from Texas State University. After graduation he moved to Blanco, Texas and started a job as an IT Tech for Horseshoe Bay Resort. The computer industry turned out to not be his true passion so he moved back to San Marcos to start his real estate career as an apartment locator. That’s when he met Katy Scruton who came into his place of business looking for a home to purchase. Robby cleverly sold her a home in his neighborhood and hired her as his assistant where they quickly fell in love with each other and real estate. Katy was diagnosed with Narcolepsy while in college and had a desire to find a cure for the disorder while proving to the world that it would never slow her down. Robby and Katy decided to start a real estate company in 2011 that would assist with that goal and they named it 3Z Realty, ZZZ for sleep. After many years of hard work and with the support of their friends, family, and clients they now own an office at 2706 Hunter Rd. in San Marcos, Texas with 2 employees, 7 agents, and manage over 100 properties under 3Z Property Management while raising funds and awareness to find a cure for Narcolepsy.
