Jeffrey Oltjendiers, Broker with Mossy Oak Properties/Picosa Creek Realty. I was born and raised in Floresville where both my parents where also born and raised. While in high school I was very involved in agriculture, showing cattle and baling hay. After graduating from Floresville High School I attended Texas A&M University where I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Animal Science with an emphasis on farm and ranch management. Upon graduating I became assistant manager of Westbury Cattle Co. in Calvert, Texas. Westbury Cattle Co was a cow/calf production operation that ran an average of 1000 mother cows. While still in college I kept my custom hay baling service going during the summer months. While living in Calvert I married my lovely wife, Julie. Julie is also from Floresville. In 1999 I had an opportunity to come back home to Floresville! I started my new adventure in the BBQ business. For 17 years I was owner/manager of Lazy J Bar-B-Q Restaurant and Catering, a family business. Also during these years my Dad and I built up our own cow/calf operation to about 100 mother cows and grew our custom hay baling business to include selling hay. Along with the restaurant and hay baling business I always had an interest in real estate. In 2005 I became a licensed Texas Real Estate Agent! Then in 2008 I received my Brokers License. In 2009 I created Picosa Creek Realty. I have built my business on honesty and integrity.
