I was born and raised in the Fort Worth / Parker County area. My family had a 3rd generation ranch raising cattle and horses. I rope, announce rodeos, served on the Azle ISD Board of Trustees for 7 1/2 years. I am currently Chairman of the Texas Bankers Association's Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee. I have been married to my wife Jacklyn for 5 years. She also comes from a ranching family in south Texas. I am a graduate of Tarleton State University.
