 HY:\nDetlef Hallermann is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Reliant
  Energy Trade Center at Texas A&amp\;M University. Dr. Hallermann has crea
 ted and directs the Trading\, Risk &amp\; Investments Program (TRIP) and t
 he Petroleum Ventures Program (PVP) for Texas A&amp\;M University. TRIP is
  an integrated BBA/MS Finance program that collaborates with industry in w
 hich students participate in multiple markets and investments related inte
 rnships as part of a B.B.A. / M.S. Finance degree program. PVP is an inter
 disciplinary cross-departmental educational program in which students in F
 inance complete upper level Petroleum Engineering coursework and Petroleum
  Engineering majors complete upper level Finance coursework. As part of hi
 s responsibilities\, Dr. Hallermann manages a thirty (30) plus company adv
 isory board in addition to a twenty (20) plus individual advisory board.\n
 \n\nIn addition\, Professor Hallermann has held professor positions at Ric
 e University\, University of Denver\, and Colorado School of Mines. Dr. Ha
 llermann has created courses or programs related to almost all aspects of 
 front-front and mid-office responsibilities for energy trading\, energy ec
 onomics and the physical transportation of energy and energy products for 
 numerous private entities regarding energy trading including DCP\, P66\, N
 ord Bank (Germany) and the Algerian government. Dr. Hallermann authored th
 e first draft of the GARP Energy Risk Management (ERM) Certificate coursew
 ork.\n\nDr. Hallermann sits on the Market Technician Association Education
  Foundation Board. He is a Financial Management Association (FMA) and Glob
 al Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) member.\n\nDr. Hallermann has 
 over a decade of practical experience in the energy industry. He is well v
 ersed in oil and gas acquisitions as a petroleum engineer and MBA. He has 
 focused the majority of his career on derivatives\, contingent claims anal
 ysis\, trading and risk management and market behavior in the commodities 
 sector. As part of his doctoral work\, Dr. Hallermann created the only tru
 ly quantitative approach to valuing political/expropriation risk in the mi
 ning sector.\n\nPrior to joining Texas A&amp\;M University\, Dr. Hallerman
 n performed product development for an ETRM software program and has manag
 ed quantitative and risk groups for energy trade floors. Dr. Hallermann de
 veloped models for pricing credit risk\, full-requirements and long-term e
 lectricity and natural gas contracts. He also advises risk management grou
 ps regarding value-at-risk (VaR) and strategic VaR allocation.\n\nDr. Hall
 ermann has an M.S. and a Ph.D. from the Colorado School of Mines\, an MBA 
 from the University of Denver\, and a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from T
 exas A&amp\;M University (whoop).\n\n\n\n
