In 1985, Mr. Dees joined Espey Huston & Associates (EHA). His roles at EHA included work in general civil engineering as well as water resources related work.
In 1987, Mr. Dees founded DataGraphics, a software development company which developed computer software for civil site engineering, land surveying and mapping.
In 2000, Mr. Dees refocused the company as a consulting engineering company and has been principally involved in business development and management of the company, as well being involved in project work.
