Our speaker will be Lee Lytton, a well-known Texas attorney who is very experienced in land law and rights.  In Lee’s words: “I’ve been in the teaching racket for about 30 years now, unlike many other “Professors”, I had a wild ride before getting there. I reinvented myself into academia after the oil and gas debacle in the mid-80’s…but that awful event has served me well since, even though I also lost our family ranch in Jim Hogg County to the Estate Tax in the early 90’s; and I’ve been on the warpath against it since.”

Lee has been a staunch defender of private property rights, both in and out of the classroom, and as a frequent speaker and volunteer board member of the South Texans’ Property Rights Association (STPRA), a nonprofit property rights advocacy organization.

The newly revised 2nd edition of “Lytton’s Handbook on Texas Property Law” was released in January 2016.
